A cold and wet trend persisted statewide through the month of April, impacting planting progress and delaying plant growth. Parts of Northern Idaho recorded only 3 days with high temperatures beyond 60 degrees, while precipitation came in line with 10-year averages. Significant April precipitation in the Pocatello area improved yearly precipitation totals to just over 1” behind long term averages.
