Dr. Jared Spackman, University of Idaho
Do high fertilizer prices have you considering a split Nitrogen application? Or perhaps the future use of canopy sensors to determine a more variable approach to your fertilization plans? The Idaho Wheat Commission is currently funding a project led by Dr. Jared Spackman that seeks answers to these research questions. For the upcoming year, field experiments will continue at the Aberdeen and Kimberly research stations and will include 8 additional nitrogen regimes.
