HYPOTHESIS & OBJECTIVES:

Objective 1 – Cultivar development of HWW, HWS, HRW, HRS, and SWS wheats.
Objective 2 - Develop cultivars using a combination of traditional and marker-assisted methodologies.
Objective 3 - Identify cultivars for multiple production systems; irrigated, rainfed, no-till.
Objective 4 - Develop two gene Clearfield winter wheat for dryland and irrigated growers.
Objective 5 - Identify and select new resistance genes to stem rust TTKS.
